Bios
Meet: Nathan Hunter Steed, aka N. H. Steed.
​
He attended Vanguard University and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Communication.
His titles (past and present) include: follower of Jesus, son, brother, husband, uncle, father, marine, student, mentor, leader, author, poet, patriot, friend.
He is a huge advocate for homeschool education, especially since he himself was homeschooled from grades 1-12 along with his five older siblings. After he graduated from high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served 4 years of active service followed by 4 years in the Inactive Reserves.
He is a collector of books, soup bowls, and hoodies. His heroes in literature include C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and John Flanagan.
He is one half of the Steed Publishing dynamic duo. His primary role at Steed Publishing is Author/Content Creator. His passion is to use his gift of creative storytelling to tell the story of the Gospel.
Meet: Amanda Steed.
She attended North Greenville University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies combining English and Communication.
Her titles (past and present) include: Christian, daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, leader, helper, writer, editor, proofreader, servant, chief, vice-president, friend. She is “mama“ to three, “sister” to three, “aunt” to twenty-six, and “friend” to many.
She sees the world through the lens of relationships. As an enneagram 2w3 she thrives in a support role while achieving success.
She will almost always choose sweet over salty. She has a crippling caffeine addiction and can make a mean chocolate cake.
She is one half of the Steed Publishing dynamic duo. Her primary role at Steed Publishing is Editor in Chief. She also manages all the behind-the-scenes efforts. She writes and edits because she believes in the power of story, the power of God in story, and the power of God to captivate through story. She is dedicated to doing her work to the best of her ability to glorify God.
